The tram

The tram is the fastest way to travel around Strasbourg city centre, its districts and neighbouring municipalities.

Timetables

  • Monday - Saturday : 4:30 → 00:30
  • Sunday & public holidays (except 1 Mai) : 5:30 → 00:30

Frequencies

  • 6:30 – 20:00 : every 5 à 10 minutes
  • Outside these times : around every 15 min

Validation

  • Validation takes place on the platform before boarding the tram

Bus Rapid Transit (BHNS)

Bus Rapid Transit routes offer tram-like regularity, with upgraded stops and smooth movement thanks to dedicated lanes.

Boarding is permitted through all doors.

Timetables

  • Monday – Saturday: 04:30 → 00:30
  • Sundays & public holidays (except 1 May): 05:30 → 00:30
  • ❌Line H does not run on Sundays

Frequencies

  • Ligne G : every 4 to 15 minutes depending on the day and time 
  • Ligne H : every 8 to 12 minutes depending on the day and time

Validation

  • Validation takes place on the platform before boarding the bus

Chron’hop high-frequency bus lines

Chron’hop lines serve the main corridors and quickly connect districts and municipalities.
Boarding is permitted through all doors.

Timetables

  • Week: 05:00 → 00:30 (last service through the city centre)
  • Sundays & public holidays (except 1 May): 06:00 → 00:30

Frequencies

  • Daytime: every 7 to 10 minutes depending on the line
  • After 20:00: every 15 to 30 minutes depending on the line

Validation

  • Validation takes place on board, at any door (front, middle or rear).
Bus-Ligne-10-Gallia

Standard bus routes

Standard bus routes serve all districts and municipalities of the Eurométropole de Strasbourg.

Timetables for some routes are coordinated with TER trains to make connections easier and ensure seamless multimodal travel.
Boarding takes place only through the front door.
