Join us on Wednesday, May 20, for an awareness event titled “Blind Spots: Choose Zero Risk” from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Place Kléber.
This initiative aims to enhance safety, reduce accidents, and improve coexistence between buses and other users of public space: cyclists, pedestrians, e-scooter users, parents with strollers, and motorists.
The key message? From the driver’s perspective, in certain areas, other road users are invisible.
Let’s do everything we can to share the road safely.
A hands-on experience in real conditions
A bus will be installed at Place Kléber, with ground markings to clearly illustrate the seven blind spot zones for drivers, offering a real-life experience.
This awareness campaign is organized in partnership with CADR 67, Strasbourg à vélo, and the EMS Road Safety Commission as part of Road Safety at Work Week.
Highlights of the day
10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.: CTS information stand with drivers, CTS staff, trainers, and local associations.
Opportunity to sit in the driver’s seat of an articulated bus.
2:00 p.m.: Aerial photo shoot of the bus, blind spots, and cyclists.
We look forward to seeing you on May 20! Help us make the invisible visible!
